IE Arts & Culture Lab: Engaging Students with Madrid’s Creative Ecosystem

As part of its commitment to hands-on, interdisciplinary learning, the Arts & Culture Lab—directed by Professor Daniel Valtueña and hosted by IE School of Humanities—launched a series of collaborative projects this semester with prominent cultural institutions in Madrid.

Students from diverse fields—including humanities, business, and law—worked directly with six cultural organizations: Cultura en Vena, Casa de México en España, Infinito Delicias, MAYRIT Bienal, Feria ARCO, and 5020 STUDIO. These immersive projects gave students valuable opportunities to explore career paths in the cultural sector while contributing to the creative landscape of Madrid.
