IE University Signs Strategic Partnership with Oracle

IE Talent and Careers launched a strategic partnership with Oracle, one of the world’s leading enterprise technology companies, creating opportunities for IE students and alumni to obtain industry-recognized certifications and engage with employers more closely. 

Albert Triola, Senior Vice President Support Renewal Sales EMEA and Country Leader, Oracle Spain, and Ines Drieselmann, Vice President for Alumni and Careers at IE University, signed the accord to integrate Oracle Academy and Oracle University across IE programs. 

"This agreement marks a significant step in strengthening IE University’s technology ecosystem. By embedding Oracle Academy and Oracle University courses into our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, we ensure our students gain access to globally recognized certifications and skills that the market demands. For our community, it reinforces our role at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation," said Drieselmann.

Through this partnership, IE will incorporate Oracle Academy content from the start of degrees and provide access to Oracle University’s Student Learning Subscription, which includes expert-led digital courses, guided labs, official documentation, certification preparation, and, for some tracks, a certification exam voucher. Each Student Learning Subscription provides six months of access to learning materials and exam preparation.

Academically, students will integrate Oracle certifications into their degree path, working with industry standard tools and content. Professionally, the partnership expands access to internships, training and direct recruitment with Oracle and its partner ecosystem. For alumni, it supports lifelong learning and reskilling through Oracle University so graduates stay equipped with cutting edge skills throughout their careers.

The partnership is effective immediately for one year and renews annually. Oracle and IE University are dedicated to establishing a long-term partnership that develops over time, going beyond certifications to include master programs, research projects, and alumni engagement.
