How will IE & the MIM help you to achieve your career goals?
Careers Management Center: Students have access to IE’s Careers Management Center and its trained career counselors, who work with students one-on-one along every step of their career trajectory from initial self-assessment through the job search and beyond.
Career Strategy Module: The Careers Management Centre has designed a comprehensive program exclusively for the Master in International Management – the Career Strategy Module – to help students discern and achieve their career goals.
Corporate Immersion Weeks: Students have the opportunity to visit several multinational companies and to network with executives.
Speaker Series: Through IE’s strong relationships with businesses and public policy organizations, students get to hear directly from the world's business leaders. Different formats (Career Series and Executive Insight Series) allow students to network with these business leaders.
Internship: The internship is optional and academic credit is not awarded. It can be done after the completion of the core period or specialization period (depending on the intake). These internship opportunities might range in their duration from four weeks to six months.
Business competitions: These competitions are optional and are launched in different fields, such as marketing, innovation, or digital business. Recent business competitions include the Nokia Challenge, a sustainability project guided by IE and Nokia, and the MIM Goes Viral Competition a joint initiative with the Miami Ad School.Alumni & Student Services Careers at IE IE's International Career Fair

Specialization: The program includes a Specialization Option as an integral part of the program. During this period, students can develop their expertise in Sales & Marketing, Digital Business, International Business or Financial Management & Control.
Language Options: The Master in Management can be pursued in English, Spanish or bilingually (core period in one language and specialization period in another).
Beyond Borders Experience (BBE): The BBE allows you to further customize your program by doing an International Exchange or Dual Specialization.
Dual Degrees: The Dual Degree options offered at IE Business School allow Master in Management students to combine the overall core knowledge from their Master in Management program with an additional Master of Science in Management Studies from MIT Sloan or a Master in Finance from IE using the unique resources available through both programs.
Venture Lab: In Venture Lab students have the unique opportunity to develop their business plans. The aim of Venture Lab is to incubate the development and consolidation of business start-ups proposed and launched by IE students and alumni, and to foster an ecosystem aimed at facilitating the funding of business projects.IE Venture Day
Beyond the program
MIM Cup: Through competitive challenges that foster school spirit and collaboration, the MIM Cup perfectly embodies the two main aspects that IE has embraced as central tenets of its teaching philosophy: entrepreneurship and teamwork. Sections will compete in various types of competition ranging from a sport tournament to a talent competition.
Networking: During the program there are many networking opportunities. Some examples include the MIM Cookie Social - a bilingual networking event; the Speaker Series and Corporate Immersion Week where you can network with business leaders and entrepreneurs; and Student Clubs where you will meet students from other programs.
Madrid: IE is located in the city center of Madrid, a dynamic city where there is always something going on. The city's restaurants, cafes and theatres, coupled with major shopping areas that host everything from top international designers to exquisite local specialties, make the city a hub of activity both day and night. The Madrid experience Beyond the classroom
