"Lead with empathy. Grow with courage. The rest will follow."

Vice President, US Pain/Analgesic Division at Haleon. IMBA 2010.

As Vice President of Marketing and General Manager of Pain BU at Haleon U.S., I lead a $1.3B+ and full end-to-end P&L ownership, where I oversee the growth and innovation of staple consumer health brands like Advil and Voltaren, which are leaders in their respective segments. My professional journey spans over two decades across global organizations, including Johnson & Johnson, Boehringer Ingelheim, and GSK/Haleon. Notably, I’ve served as Chief of Staff to the U.S. CEO and Head of Business Operations. These roles have honed my strategic leadership and operational expertise. A significant aspect of my work is advancing self-care in the U.S., a country where healthcare remains largely inaccessible to underserved populations. By promoting affordable, trusted solutions, I aim to empower individuals to take charge of their health, bridging gaps in the healthcare system. Academically, I hold an MBA from IE Business School and have completed executive education at Harvard. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping my leadership philosophy and global perspective. Beyond my professional endeavors, my family is the cornerstone of my journey. Their unwavering support and inspiration drive me to excel, reminding me daily of the importance of empathy, resilience, and purpose in leadership.

How did IE help you get to where you are today?

IE gave me the confidence and strategic mindset to think globally while staying grounded in purpose and reality. The international network, the entrepreneurial culture, and the practical learning approach helped me grow as a leader and build resilience in fast-changing environments as well as to break complex problems into Solutions. It shaped not just my business acumen but also my personal values around diversity, collaboration, and bold thinking.

What are three achievements you are most proud of?

  • Leading Haleon’s US Pain BU, a USD 1.3B+ business as VP & GM with full P&L ownership—transforming powerhouse brands like Advil, Excedrin, Voltaren, and Centrum, in the largest consumer health company globally.
  • Driving industry impact by advancing OTC access and health literacy—addressing critical gaps in a system where preventive care remains out of reach for many.
  • Building a global leadership career while raising a family abroad—balancing ambition with purpose, and drawing daily strength from my wife and two sons who remain my greatest source of inspiration.

What does success look like for you?

Success is creating meaningful impact at scale—delivering strong business results while improving people’s lives through accessible health solutions. It’s leading with purpose, staying grounded in my values, and building a legacy my family can be proud of. True success is growth that doesn’t come at the cost of who you are, but because of it.
