IE Pre-Tracks Summer Program is a two-week experience for final-year highschoolers who want to explore what they might study in the future. Choose from tracks in Business, Law or Design, and get a taste of real university life. This program is for high school students graduating in 2026 or 2027, under 18, who want a more focused academic experience and to explore fields like business, law, or design before choosing their university path. Through a two-week immersive experience, students engage in hands-on learning, interact with expert faculty, and discover IE University and its campuses in Segovia and Madrid, gaining real insight into university life to make more informed decisions about their future studies.

- Try before you choose: Go beyond surface level introductions. Work on real challenges, analyse cases and experience how different fields are taught at university level.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I apply to the program?
To ensure your spot in the program you must be enrolled. Be enrolled means that you must complete the following steps:
1. Apply for the program, and be admitted
2. Both you and your legal guardian must sign the program contract
3. Pay the total amount of the program fee
4. The admission is now open!
Even though, application deadline is in June, places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, and we normally open waiting list around March.
What should I do if I’m 18 at the start of the program?
If you’re 18 or older when the program begins, you’ll be eligible for our UniversitySummer Programs instead. These are designed for students who have already started or completed their first year of university and want to take their learning to the next level.
Do I need a Visa to attend the program? Can you help me obtain it?
If you are a non-European citizen or don’t have an agreement with the Spanish government, you will need a visa to visit us. Each country has its own requirements, we reccomend to ask directly your country consulate for more information. We will also put you in contact with IE Student Services department to help you with the process.
If needed, IE will provide and enrollment letter only once you are enrolled in the program.
How does the video assesment work?
You will receive a link to complete the Kira Online Assessment portion of your application. This link gives you access to an unlimited amount of practice questions that you can try out to get a sense of the types of questions asked, and to get more comfortable on camera. When you're ready, set aside 20-30 minutes to record 2 live questions. Remember to be yourself, and show the Admissions Team your personality!
Is there a waiting list if the program is full?
Yes, if the program reaches full capacity, you may be placed on a waiting list. If a spot becomes available, you will be contacted. It's recommended to apply early to maximize your chances of setting a spot in the program.
Can I reapply if I am not accepted this year?
Yes, if you are not accepted to the program this year, you can reapply for the next edition if you meet the program requirements. Many students reapply after gaining additional experience or improving their qualifications.
Are there any scholarships or financial aid options for the program?
Unfortunately, this program does not offer scholarships.
Who are the professors teaching the course?
This program is taught by IE University faculty members, many of whom are industry experts or have academic experience in their respective fields. These professors bring real-world knowledge and insights into the classroom, providing students with a practical and up-to-date eduaction. The faculty is highly experienced, and many are involved in research, consultancy, or business ventures that are shaping the future of their industries.
