Gender equality energy transition

This report was developed by researchers Custodia Cabanas Patricia Gabaldón Konstantina Valogianni, IE Foundation, and Fundación CEPSA. The objective of this report is to contrast the perception of diversity and energy transition experts

with the views of young Spanish regarding the opportunities that the energy transition offers for gender equality. The three conclusions of the report are:

• Young Spanish have a high environmental awareness, and half of them would like to play a more active role in designing climate policies.

• The energy transition can be an opportunity to promote gender equality.

• Sustainability is an aspect that increases the attractiveness of companies for incorporating young people into their workforce
