THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS
1. Online Application
You will need to complete the online application with the following documents:
- Academic transcripts.
- CV (cv template).
- Video Assessment: in this section you will complete two live video questions on general knowledge topics.
2. Submit your Application
Once you complete all sections you may submit your online application to be evaluated by our team.
3. Admissions Final Decision
Within 2 weeks of submitting, the Summer School Team will contact you with the final resolution of your Admissions process. Should it be positive, you will be guided through the next steps for your enrollment.

Application fee exemption
If you decide to apply to an IE University bachelor’s program and indicate your IE Summer Program alumni status in the online application, you will receive a €150 application fee waiver.

Successfully pass all subjects taken during the ongoing academic year.
The permitted age is 15 to 17 years old (both ages included).

Admission Process
Submit IEU Summer Program online application with supporting documentation such as a CV, last available grades, and introductory video. Other diplomas and certificates would be optional.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I ensure a spot in the program?
To ensure your spot in the program you must be enrolled. Be enrolled means that you must complete the following steps:
1. Apply for the program, and be admitted.
2. Both you and your legal guardian must sign the program contract.
3. Pay the total amount of the program fee.
Even though, application deadline is in June, places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, and we normally open waiting list around March.
Do I need a Visa to attend the program? Can you help me obtain it?
If you are a non-European citizen or don’t have an agreement with the Spanish government, you will need a visa to visit us. Each country has its own requirements, we reccomend to ask directly your country consulate for more information. We will also put you in contact with IE Student Services department to help you with the process.
If needed, IE will provide and enrollment letter only once you are enrolled in the program.

What does IE expect from my video presentation?
During the application process we will ask you to submit a short video. In this video we expect to get to know you better and why you would like to join IE during the summer. We recommend to use any video platform that allows you to share the video as a link. Please note that the link must be public so we can access to it. Once you finish the admissions process you will be able to erase it or make it private. Most of our students use Youtube or Vimeo.
We encourage all candidates to be bold and original, highlight what make you different and unique.
Is there a waiting list if the program is full?
Yes, if the program reaches full capacity, you may be placed on a waiting list. If a spot becomes available, you will be contacted. It's recommended to apply early to maximize your chances of setting a spot in the program.
Can I reapply if I am not accepted this year?
Yes, if you are not accepted to the program this year, you can reapply for the next edition if you meet the program requirements. Many students reapply after gaining additional experience or improving their qualifications.
Are there any scholarships or financial aid options for the program?
Unfortunately, this program does not offer scholarships.
Who are the professors teaching the course?
This program is taught by IE University faculty members, many of whom are industry experts or have academic experience in their respective fields. These professors bring real-world knowledge and insights into the classroom, providing students with a practical and up-to-date eduaction. The faculty is highly experienced, and many are involved in research, consultancy, or business ventures that are shaping the future of their industries.
Can I repeat the Pre-University Program?
Yes, you can! Many students choose to return for another edition. However, suppose you’re ready to dive deeper. In that case, we also offer the Pre-Tracks Summer Program — specialized two-week experiences designed to help you explore university life and see if bachelor’s degrees in Business, Law, or Design are right for you.
