"The future is digital. Let’s make it human."

Vice President, European Association for Digital Transition. Master in Laws - New Technologies 2001.

I am a lawyer, consultant and legal strategist trained in Law and at IE. I founded my own specialised law firm and have devoted my career to making technology a driver of progress, protection and competitiveness. My work focuses on digital regulation, AI, data protection, consumers, children’s rights and technology governance. My strongest social commitment is the protection of children and adolescents online. Through the National Pact to protect minors on the internet and social media — joined by more than 220 organisations, including UNICEF Spain, Save the Children and Fundación ANAR — we helped place minors and technology at the centre of Spain’s political agenda. I currently chair the Spanish Consumer and User Council and take part in European and Latin American projects that turn digital rights into real solutions. I was also honoured with the Police Merit Medal with White Distinction for my contribution to international cooperation. My purpose is clear: to put law, strategy and entrepreneurship at the service of people, ensuring that technology is designed with responsibility, impact and humanity.

How did IE help you get to where you are today?

IE helped me develop the mindset I needed to move beyond a traditional legal career and build a more entrepreneurial, strategic and impact-driven professional path. It gave me a global vision of business, innovation and leadership, and helped me understand that law is not only a framework for compliance, but also a tool to anticipate change, create trust and design better solutions for society. IE also strengthened my confidence to connect different worlds — regulation, technology, business, public institutions and social impact — and to lead initiatives that require both strategic thinking and execution. Many of the projects I am involved in today, especially in digital transformation, responsible technology and the protection of vulnerable groups online, are rooted in that IE spirit: entrepreneurship with purpose, international ambition and a commitment to creating positive impact.

What are three achievements you are most proud of?

I am most proud of is having contributed to placing children’s digital safety at the centre of Spain’s public, political and legislative agenda; building an independent career at the intersection of law, technology, strategy and social impact; and seeing my work expand beyond Spain through European and Latin American projects aimed at turning digital rights into real solutions.

What does success look like for you?

For me, success means creating real and lasting impact. It is not only about professional recognition, but about using law, strategy and entrepreneurship to improve people’s lives and help institutions, companies and society make better decisions in the digital age. Success is seeing technology designed with responsibility, humanity and fairness; seeing children better protected online; seeing digital rights translated into practical solutions; and knowing that my work has helped move important issues from concern to action.
