Joe Niklas Ploog

Joe N. Ploog is Assistant Professor in the Strategy Department at IE University. His research focuses on intra-platform competition and heterogenous network effects. Joe is in the process of attaining his PhD in Strategy from the UCL, School of Management in London. He graduated cum laude (distinction) with an MSc. Program in Strategic Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and received a BA. in International Business from Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen and Nuremberg. In his free time, Joe likes to spend time cooking and playing (video) games, which often inspire the empirical settings for his research.
