DEFINE YOUR EXPERIENCE IN ONE WORD.

If I had to define my experience in one word, it would be lifechanging, it gave me a new perspective to observe my life both personally and professionally.

IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU THINK PROGRAM HAS CHANGED YOUR LIFE PROFESSIONALLY AND PERSONALLY?

The program has changed my life personally and professionally in different aspects; I came to IE with a business management background and the program was an enriching experience which gave me the opportunity to grow and strengthen my self-confidence.

The program has made me learn how to successfully work in teams formed by different profiles, this has been a challenge, yet it enabled me to learn how to communicate with people from different backgrounds and cultures; giving me the opportunity to create deep and personal bounds with my classmates. The program also gave me the tools to explore my creative and communicational side and skills, improving my ability to defend my ideas when it came to group projects.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY OF YOUR EXPERIENCE?

I share many fun memories of the program, for instance the nights before project deadlines spend with my team refining our ideas and making sure every detail was taken care of. My experience was not only shaped by the schoolwork by I have also really valued the time spend outside of the classroom with my classmates, sharing memories around the city.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO STUDY THIS PROGRAM AT IE?

This program gave me the instruments to gain technical skills (video making, graphic design, manage creative projects…) but more important it changed my mindset, helping to never limit myself and explore further possibilities to grow and improve. I have always been fascinated about creativity, but I have never had the change to explore this passion in a structured manner.

IE helped to follow my passion enabling me to find my creative side and to push my curiosity, two skills that are still crucial in my professional daily life.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE MAIN CHALLENGES THAT YOU ENCOUNTERED ON YOUR WAY? HOW DID YOUR MASTER PROGRAM AND IE HELP YOU THROUGH THESE CHALLENGES?

The most challenging part of the program was mainly the beginning, adapting to a new learning environment and acquiring the skills need for the program was not an easy task. I also thought that working with groups formed by different profiles was difficult at the beginning. Once I managed to overcome these adversities the program helped to shape and build the skills that I needed.

WHAT IS NETWORKING LIKE IN THE PROGRAM?

Personally, networking it has helped built meaningful and long-lasting relationships. Although it was something that has contribute to my experience, finding a job can still be a challenging process.
