  • Nicholas Goulet

    Co-founder and Managing Partner, Adara Ventures

    Nicholas is co-Founder and Managing Partner of Adara Ventures since 2002. He has managed venture capital investments in high-tech companies for the last 16 years. During this period he has been actively involved with more than 25 early stage ventures and served on the board of 16 companies, totaling more than 50 years of board membership in early stage technology ventures. He has worked for Monitor Company and Andersen Consulting. Nicholas obtained a BSc degree in Aerospace Engineering from the École Centrale de Paris, an MSc in Aeronautics & Astronautics from MIT and an MBA from INSEAD.

  • Ignacio Larru

    Adjunct Professor

    Ignacio is Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Big Data at IE Business School. He is an Analytics Consultant and is currently the Vice President of Credit Agricole CIB. He is moreover the Founder of Ll Ventures, and previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an IT Consultant. He studied Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds an MBA degree from IESE Business School.

  • Peter Bryant

    Professor of Entrepreneurship at IE Business School

    Peter Bryant practices what he preaches, finding opportunity everywhere he looks. Now acting as Professor of Entrepreneurship at IE Business School, he has extensive experience in venture capitalism and has orchestrated a number of successful IPOs and VC deals.

    He previously served as a manager in the airline, banking, consulting and venture capital industries in Sydney, before going on to manage the commercialization of exciting new technologies at the University of Sydney.

    Nowadays this unstoppable Australian is a professor of entrepreneurship at IE. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he conducts valuable research into entrepreneurial management and strategy, exploring how entrepreneurship can drive industrial change and the evolution of organizational capabilities. His research has been published in major academic journals, as well as professional publications including the online editions of the Harvard Business Review and The Economist.

  • Rocío Pillado

    Partner at Adara Ventures

    Rocío joined Adara Ventures in 2013 after finishing her MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and became Partner in 2018. Previously, Rocío worked at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB) within the Trading & Sales department, in the New York and Hong Kong offices. She worked as a project leader and software engineer, designing and building trading software. Earlier in her career, Rocío worked in France in the cybersecurity field. Rocío is also the cofounder of, the leading website in the Spanish language about MBA and other graduate programs.

    Apart from her MBA, Rocío holds an engineering degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from the french École Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées and a MSc in Cryptology, Security and Information Coding from the Institut Fourier.
