WOMEN SCHOLARSHIPS

In order to encourage women to continue on their path towards excellence, the IE Foundation, on behalf of its donors and IE Community, has an annual budget dedicated exclusively to women. Our goal is to provide talented and driven women with the financial resources required to accomplish their academic and professional objectives.

Through this special fund, with a total investment of near 6 million euros, the Financial Aid department offers a number of scholarships to women who have a track record of exceptional professional and personal achievement and who want to study at IE and gain the leadership skills they need to advance in the world of business.

All scholarships have specific eligibility criteria based on a combination of merit and financial need.

IE WOMAN SCHOLARSHIP

For proactive and driven women who are working towards important accomplishments in their professional or personal sphere and are determined to act as role models for other women.

• Qualifying programs: IE Master’s Degrees and Executive Education programs.
• Number of awards: multiple.
• Amount of award: up to 25% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to female candidates admitted to a qualifying program with demonstrated achievements: evidence of career progression, leadership potential and interpersonal and team-working skills. Both merit and need based.

WOMEN LEADERSHIP AWARD

For outstanding women who have exhibited leadership potential in their community, academic institution or place of work. These scholarships will be awarded to women who are high achievers and want to contribute to the advancement of other women in their organizations and their communities.

• Qualifying programs: IE Master’s Degrees and Executive Education programs.
• Number of awards: multiple.
• Amount of award: up to 40% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to female candidates admitted to a qualifying program, with demonstrable academic/professional excellence, strong business leadership skills and outstanding potential. Financial need will also be considered.

WOMEN MENTORSHIP PROGRAM AWARD

The program offers a unique combination of financial aid and mentoring support to female candidates. The six-month mentoring program is designed to support high-potential women in their career development and is offered by the IE Center for Diversity in collaboration with the IE Women Business Club. 

As part of this program, scholarship recipients will be matched with a mentor from IE’s vast network.

All mentors in the program are successful business men and women, or professionals at board or senior executive levels, who have years of experience in a variety of industries.

• Qualifying programs: International MBA, Master in Finance, Master in Advanced Finance, Master in Business Analytics and Big Data, Master in Cybersecurity, Master in Computer Science and Business Technology and Master in Real Estate Development.
• Number of awards: three per year.
• Amount of award: 40% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to female candidates admitted to a qualifying program who demonstrate notable professional/personal/academic achievements, find themselves in a growing point in their professional career or entrepreneurial endeavor, and exhibit leadership skills through involvement in their community/workplace, extracurricular activities, volunteer positions, and/or work experience. Financial need will be taken into consideration. To be considered, candidates will also have to be willing to commit and actively engage in IE’s Women Mentoring Program that runs yearly from February to July.

WOMEN IN STEM

For women both entering or already in STEM-related fields.

• Qualifying programs: IE Master and Executive Education programs, Bachelor in Data Science, Bachelor in Information Systems Management.
• Number of awards: multiple.
• Amount of award: up to 30% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to female candidates admitted to a STEM or STEM-related program as well as those admitted to a non-STEM program pursuing or planning to pursue a meaningful career in the field of science, technology, engineering or medicine. Both merit and need based.

WOMEN IN FINANCE

For outstanding women who have experience in finance or plan to pursue a career in this field. IE wants to encourage and support women of all ages and nationalities who demonstrate a real interest in finance, contributing to end the disparity in a male-dominated industry.

• Qualifying programs: All IE Master Programs.
• Number of awards: multiple.
• Amount of award: up to 30% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: Exceptional academic or professional achievements and solid experience or career potential in the finance sector. Preference will be given to candidates with financial need.

THE MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship aims to encourage women’s empowerment through education and to increase the number of candidates from underrepresented communities in the Middle East and Africa.

• Qualifying programs: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees programs.
• Number of awards: multiple.
• Amount of award: up to 35% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: The scholarship committee will assess the following: high test-scoring individuals, professional and academic progression and entrepreneurial venturing as well as a motivation to contribute to their region in the future. Preference will be given to women who reside in the region at the time of application and have a financial need.

IE-FORTÉ MBA FELLOWSHIP

IE is a proud member of Forté Foundation, a non-profit consortium of leading companies and top business schools working together to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women.

• Qualifying programs: IE MBA Degree programs.
• Number of awards: multiple.
• Amount of award: variable, ranging from €10,000 to €20,000 towards tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to female candidates admitted to a qualifying program who exhibit exemplary leadership through academic, team, community and creative leadership, show a commitment to helping women achieve their career potential and represent diverse educational and work backgrounds, career goals, ethnicity and citizenship.

THE QUEEN RANIA SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN BUSINESS LEADERS

Aimed at talented Jordanian women with demonstrated  financial need, who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at IE.

• Qualifying programs: IE Bachelor and Master Degrees programs.
• Number of awards: five.
• Amount of award: 40% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to female candidates with permanent residence in Jordan and admitted to a qualifying program, who show the potential to become future leaders and influencers for the benefit of Jordan.

THE IE-JOHN MONASH SCHOLARS’ AWARD

For outstanding Australian women with demonstrated excellence in their field, leadership potential, and a vision for how they can contribute to a better Australia, wishing to undertake a postgraduate degree at IE.

• Qualifying programs: IE Master’s Degree programs.
• Number of awards: one per year.
• Amount of award: 30% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to John Monash women Scholars. John Monash Scholars are recipients of one of Australia’s most prestigious scholarships, provided by the General Sir John Monash Foundation.

INSTITUTO LING SCHOLARSHIP

For outstanding Brazilian woman with demonstrated accomplishments and high potential for senior leadership roles, admitted to study IE’s International MBA. Instituto Ling, a non-profit Brazilian institution founded by the Ling Family in 1995, seeks to provide continuous support to the social, economic and cultural development of Brazil by granting scholarships to Brazilian talented individuals with entrepreneurial spirit and leadership potential who seek to improve their skills at the most prestigious universities throughout the globe.

• Qualifying programs: International MBA.
• Number of awards: one per year.
• Amount of award: 25% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: open to Instituto Ling female scholars admitted to the International MBA.

WOMEN IN REAL ESTATE

For outstanding women who have experience or plan to pursue a career in the real estate sector. IE School of Architecture and Design wants to encourage and support women that are passionate in the development of cities, and work towards ending the disparity in a male-dominated industry.

• Qualifying programs: Master in Real Estate Development
• Amount of award: up to 30% of tuition fees.
• Eligibility: Exceptional academic or professional achievements and solid experience or career potential in the real estate sector. Preference will be given to candidates with financial need.
