Master in International Relations - BRUSSELS and ExchangeIt's time to impact the world
ONE-WEEK FIELDTRIP TO BRUSSELS
In between the second and third periods, Master’s in International Relations students take a fieldwork trip to Brussels, where they visit and learn from regional and global players such as the European Commision and NATO, as well as private sector and non-profit institutions. This one-week trip is included in the program tuition.
The European Union constitutes an ideal venue to study the interaction of public sector, private sector, and civil society organizations. In order to provide students access to this fertile testing ground, a salient feature of the MIR experience is the fieldwork visit to Brussels.
During this week, students visit the European institutions as well as international organizations such as NATO and the International Organization for Migration, to learn more about their worldshaping work. Additionally, meetings with lobbying and heads of public relations departments are organized to provide students with an exclusive perspective from the private sector.
