Madrid, with a one-week fieldtrip to Brussels

The Master in International Relations is designed to be a truly transformative program, and gives students the education, training, and first-hand experience necessary to undertake successful international careers.

The curriculum both encompasses and transcends traditional distinctions between the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, with all of our courses given by distinguished professors of wide-ranging experience.

This program provides students with a strong global affairs and business foundation, complemented by a week-long field work in Brussels, while also allowing them to pursue strategic diplomacy and comparative regional studies.

Students must fulfill the following requirements to be able to request the issuance of the Official University Degree upon completion of the Master Program.

A unique curriculum

The Master in International Relations combines a foundation in global affairs with the business knowledge students need to become successful profesionals.

Its core courses are divided into four areas: global affairs foundations, international business and economics, comparative regional studies, and social entrepreneurship and development. MIR students also study a foreign language and complete a final project, either a Master’s thesis or a capstone consulting project. The program is complemented by a week-long fieldwork visit to Brussels and an optional international exchange semester at one of our prestigious partner universities.
