Conchita Galdón

About me

During the last 15 years, I have been honored to be part of the movement that is turning sustainable impact into a lens through which leaders of all sectors look at the world. Reducing inequalities is a critical element of turning this world into a place where everyone can pursue happiness fairly. Today, at IE, in my position as Director of the Center for Social Innovation and Sustainability, I work with external partners to foster this vision of the world. In my role leading the Sustainable Impact Teaching and Research efforts of the Office of Sustainability, I work with the IE community introducing this critical lens in every student’s learning journey. As a social entrepreneur, I make knowledge about innovation and entrepreneurship available for deserving people who would usually not be able to access it (vocational training students, struggling micro-business owners, etc). Every day I am gifted with the opportunity to create this legacy through my work.
