The Sustainable Goal that I identify my work with is difficult to narrow down. In my day to day through Campus Life and working with the IE community as well as with IE Club coordinators, we touch on many SDGs. This is due to the diverse number of initiatives we support.

I would have to say that I am a firm believer that #4, Education is the foundation that paves the way. A good quality education is an essential tool for achieving a more sustainable world. Helping a student develop inside and outside the classroom makes for a more holistic journey. Growing our capacity to become the people we are called to be and creating moments that give us meaning, that is a true sense of community. Making these connections happen outside the classroom, supporting student initiatives, ideas and causes…giving them the confidence to know that one person can make a difference, can start a chain reaction and bring moments that give our community meaning and perspective.

Everyday can be a ritual when you apply Intention, Attention & Repetition. Education gives us this solid foundation and community brings to life a more beautiful world. Believing that success is a symptom of your community is what gives meaning to my work and to what we do at IE University.
