Álvaro Ortiz Vidal-Abarca

Álvaro Ortiz is the Head of the Big Data Analysis unit at BBVA Research. Dr Ortiz has presented his research work at top international conferences as NBER, CEPR as well as several Central Banks Conferences including Federal Reserve Board, European Central Bank, Bank of England, Bank of Spain, Central Bank of Sweden, Central Bank of Turkey, and Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

He has published his research n several economic journals and working paper series as (CEPR, Cambridge University, Lacea Journal, Bank of Spain Working Papers, OPEC Journal…). He has participated in numerous Panels and Seminar at international Think Tank conferences and has contributed with his opinion at international newspapers including Financial Times, WSJ, The Economist…
