IE Business School No. 5 in Europe in QS ranking of Executive MBA programs

IE Business School holds the No. 5 position in the ranking of European business schools for Executive MBA programs published today by QS.

This result further consolidates IE Business School’s reputation as an international benchmark for management education, having achieved the No. 1 position worldwide in the Financial Times Ranking of Online MBA programs (March 2016) and recognition by FT as the Top School in Europe for MBAs for Entrepreneurs (June 2016).

The QS Global 100 EMBA team evaluated IE Business School’s Global Executive MBA, an English-taught program aimed at senior executives with an international profile. The program runs for 15 months and combines onsite sessions held in Madrid, Singapore, Los Angeles and Sao Paulo, with online modules. The Global Executive MBA has a marked focus on international management and is run jointly with academic partners that include Insper (Brazil), UCLA (US) and Singapore Management University (Singapore). The program is taught by an international faculty and features a continuous innovation component designed to meet market needs. The student body of the program comprises 98% international students from 27 countries and with an average of 14 years’ management experience. Global Executive MBA students combine their learning experience with their work in top-tier management positions.

In this year’s edition of its ranking QS evaluated a series of indicators for executive MBA programs which include a reputation for thought leadership research, reputation for employability, diversity of the faculty and student body, executive profile of the class, and career outcomes of the program.
