IE Professor Lucy P. Marcus Wins 2011 Thinkers50 Future Thinker Award

She has emerged as the voice setting the agenda on future proofing boardrooms and companies around the world.

The Thinkers50 is the definitive global ranking of management thinkers, published every two years.  Marcus is the recipient of the Future Thinker Award, one of eight new awards that coincide with the ranking and recognize leaders in the fields of: innovation; strategy; globalization; and leadership; as well as the best emerging thinker; the most significant breakthrough idea; and the most important book of the last two years.

The CEO of Marcus Venture Consulting, Marcus's expertise embraces best practice in governance, leadership, investment, and entrepreneurship.  She is a member of the IE International Board and recently joined the faculty at IE Business School as an adjunct Professor of Leadership and Governance.  She'll be teaching in a variety of programs, including the School's flagship International MBA and the IE Brown Executive MBA, the latter being a unique program for senior managers taught jointly by faculty from IE Business School and Brown University. Marcus also writes columns about boards, leadership, and global economic trends and speaks on these topics to diverse audiences around the globe.
