Blending expert insights, interactive workshops, reflection, connection, cultural immersion, and future-facing education, this short program positions parents as key partners in their child's growth and global success.
The program always runs during the last three days of your teenager's summer program at IE University, thus creating a memorable joint culmination point.

Apart from absorbing cutting-edge insights within a dynamic classroom setting, we offer you a taste of highly curated cultural and culinary immersions into Madrid's treasures:
- Wednesday late afternoon
- Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum.
- Private guided museum experience reflecting on identity and parenthood through art.
Wednesday evening
- Flamenco Show.
- Top-rated show with dancers, singers, guitarists in authentic Spanish 'taberna' setting including a variety of gastronomic traditional Spanish tapas.
Thursday afternoon/evening
- Cooking Class.

Can I choose an edition that doesn't directly coincide with my child's program?
Yes.
Do I have to pay extra for food & drinks during this program?
No, it's included during the welcome reception, the flamenco show, mid-morning breakfast coffee, the culinary experience at a cooking school and the final graduation cocktail. For lunch on Thursday, you can explore on your own more than 20 options at Caleido just outside the IE Tower.
Can I attend with a spouse or family member?
Yes. A second parent or relative from the same family may attend.
On Friday, will the program finish on time so I can join my child's graduation?
Yes.
How long is the program?
It's two full days of content spread over three (natural) days.
How many parents usually participate?
Around 20 parents per edition.
Will I receive insights into IE University admissions?
Yes, we will host a session with members of our admissions team that will help you navigate IE University’s process.
Is this a passive lecture-based program?
No, this is a highly interactive experience featuring workshops, guided reflection, peer discussion and small group activities designed to encourage meaningful engagement.
Do I have to attend all sessions?
No, if you have prior commitments and need to miss one of the sessions, you must simply inform the team ahead of time.
Is accommodation included in the Parent Edge Experience?
No, the program includes our classroom and cultural experiences.
