There are three main types of connection we encourage and facilitate at IE University in order to uplift the women in our community and set them up for success.

We give women the tools, knowledge, and guidance they need to understand their strengths and weaknesses, identify their own unique visions of success, and fulfill their personal and professional potential. We do this by creating a space for exploration, trial and error, and—of course—top-tier education.
CONNECTING WITH YOUR COMMUNITY
Transformation starts with oneself, but is only executed with the help of others. When you join the IE Community, you join a powerful network that consistently shares wisdom, support, inspiration, and opportunities. It’s a diverse community built on awareness, understanding, and empathy—and once you join it, you’re part of it for life.
CONNECTING WITH THE WORLD
Emboldened by self-awareness, industry expertise, and an unbeatable network, it’s time to discover where you fit into the bigger picture. OUR ACTION PILLARS
At any given moment, IE University has dozens of active initiatives aimed at supporting women and promoting equality. These initiatives are under constant revision in order to ensure they meet the unique and evolving needs of the women in our community. To guarantee that we’re creating positive long-term change, the IE Women’s Unit has crafted a multi-year Action Plan for the university.
The plan is divided into four main areas of action:

Gender equality isn’t a standalone cause. At IE University, we believe that supporting and empowering women is just one part of a much bigger picture. That bigger picture is a future where everyone is equal, regardless of gender, race, socioeconomic background, ethnicity, creed, and age, among other factors. It’s a future where we come together to build a better, more sustainable world for all.
