DIGITAL ETHICS AND PRIVACY IN NEW EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES

The aim of this interdisciplinary course is to provide students with a set of intellectual and practical tools for addressing privacy and ethical considerations in the development of new and emerging technologies. Through interactive case studies and real-world scenarios, students will reflect, discuss and engage in some of the most intricate legal, political and ethical questions. These cover a variety of relevant topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, virtual and augmented reality, and self-driving cars. Ultimately, students are taught to formulate and defend solutions to complicated technological challenges.
