Loans in Financial Aid

Favorable conditions, such as a period of interest only payments, low interest rates and the possibility of financing up to 80% of the tuition fees.

IE Loan Agreements

IE has negotiated agreements with various banks for preferential loans for IE students. This funding presents favorable financial conditions, such as a period of interest only payments, low interest rates based on mortgage rates and the possibility of financing up to 80% of the tuition fees.

IE's role is to serve as an intermediary between students and the bank, advising on how best to present the application, required documents and the procedures for the different options, as well as providing monitoring and an update on developments for each applicant on an individual basis. It must be noted, however, that the study of each application, as well as the decision to approve or deny the loan, and the specific conditions of each approved funding scheme, rests solely with the bank and not with IE.

Students at IE can only accept a loan offer from one financial partner, and we do not allow students to take on debt from multiple institutions who are direct partners of IE.

The IE Fellows Program

The IE Fellows Program is a merit-based program that provides admitted degree candidates with funding towards their program of study, in Exchange for their contributions to an on-campus project.  Our intent is to always factor in the candidate’s skills and experience as well as future career goals, when placing a fellow. Once a fellow has been placed they do need to sign a fellowship contract that specifies their responsibilities, deliverables, hours of contribution, and commitment to the IE Fellows program.

How to Apply for a Fellowship

It’s simple: obtain admissions to an IE Business School master program and then apply for an IE Fellow Award by completing the Online Financial Aid Application Form. While fellowship awards are primarily merit-based, the IE Fellows Program is fundamentally a Financial Aid program and so a relative level of financial need must proven.  To learn more about the IE Fellows Program, please click on the below button to be redirected to the central IE Fellows web page.
