Admissions process

APPLYING TO IE SCHOOL OF GLOBAL AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding our admissions process or our programs in general. The Admissions Department is on hand to solve any questions you might have, however big or small. We’re always available to help you decide whether IE is the right fit for you, and to make sure you achieve your personal and professional goals.

Our academic community is made up of hardworking, motivated and ambitious students who stand out for their academic and professional achievements, as well as their interpersonal skills. Our selection process is rigorous; the department looks at each candidate individually and holistically to decide whether they are a good fit for our intensive programs.

Admission is granted on a rolling basis, and spaces are limited. Please bear in mind that we do offer priority admissions between December 15 to February 1st.  Admission to a program is valid for two successive intakes.

 

Make sure you submit your application with plenty of time to spare!

    Online Application

    Candidates should complete the sections that appear in the online application form and upload the following documents:

    • Bachelor degree from an accredited university
    • Official university transcripts (certified translation into English or Spanish)
    • 1 page CV/Resume
    • 1 personal statement
    • 2 letters of recommendation
    • English language certificate – for non-Native English speakers: we accept the TOEFL (minimum score of 100), the IELTS (minimum score of 7) or a Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency level. A certificate is not required if you completed an undergraduate degree in English. The English exam is valid for two years, from the date taken (only for full-time programs)
    • Photocopy of current Passport
    • Passport size picture
    • Application fee: 125€ or 175€ in case of applying to 2 programs (fee is not refundable)

    Online Assessment

    Once you have submitted your online application and paid the application fee, you will receive a link to answer three live questions, two in video format and one in written format. This way, the admissions team will be able to meet you virtually and evaluate your capacity to respond in real time.

    Admission Test

    Students of our full-time programs are required to take either the IE Global Admissions Test  (ieGAT) GMAT, GRE.

    Personal Interview - Final Comittee Decision

    You will have a personal interview that will be done face-to-face or via Skype with a member of our Admissions Team.
