Dr. Neringa Kalpokaite is Assistant Professor at IE University, CEO of her company NkQualitas and Manager of International Projects at ATLAS.ti (a scientific qualitative research software), Berlin, Germany. Her areas of expertise are Social Psychology: particularly leadership, public speaking, political psychology, and Qualitative methodology including an extensive knowledge about qualitative research scientific software – ATLAS.ti.
Dr. Neringa Kalpokaite’s Ph.D. research investigated the psychosocial characteristics of political leadership during a transition to a successful democracy. For this, she conducted a comparative analysis of the leaders of Spain and Lithuania and held 65 interviews with the most important politicians from both countries such as King of Spain Juan Carlos, presidents of Lithuania: Algirdas Brazauskas and Vytautas Landsbergis among others.
Additionally, Dr. Neringa Kalpokaite masters four languages fluently (Spanish, English, Russian and Lithuanian) and has teaching experience in several universities of Europe and the United States. Prior to joining IE, Dr. Neringa Kalpokaite has been an honorary collaborator of the Complutense University in Madrid and a visiting Researcher at Harvard University. She is holding a variety of very important positions, for example she is the vice-president of Toastmasters International and a Member of the International Society of Political Psychology. Her well-rounded profile makes her an excellent advisor, professor and thesis supervisor to her students. Dr. Neringa Kalpokaite’s dedication and involvement is greatly valued by her students truly capturing their interest in her classes. This year she has been nominated as the best professor of Psychology at IE University.
