    Students must fulfill the following requirements to be able to request the issuance of the Official University Degree upon completion of the Master Program. If educational prerequisites are not provided and/or if the requirements are not met on time, the student will not be able to request the official university degree as issued by the Spanish government. In this case, the studies will not be official under Spanish educational regulations.

It attracts a broad variety of profiles from different fields, ranging from economics, business, the humanities and social sciences, to math, physics and engineering.

      • The Master in Applied Economics can open the door to career opportunities across numerous industries, including finance, consulting and public policy. Graduates may also choose to pursue a PhD.

      • Both the Master in Applied Economics and the Master in Finance cover topics such as quantitative analysis and critical thinking. However, the scope of the Master in Applied Economics is broader, incorporating concepts such as policy and business. In contrast, the Master in Finance has a much more specialized approach and is highly focused on the finance industry.

      • The Master in Applied Economics takes place over ten months in the heart of Madrid. You can also look forward to a one-week immersive international experience to enrich your studies further. Starting every year in September, this full-time, in-person program is delivered entirely in English.

      • Over three terms, students of the Master in Applied Economics study a mix of core courses, covering topics on programming, data tools and more; and specialized electives in three distinct tracks: Economics for Public Policy, Economic Analysis for Corporations and Economic Consultancy and Market Regulation. Then, you’ll use everything you’ve learned to complete a final project, where you can choose between an individual, research-oriented thesis or a practical team-based Capstone Consulting Project for our corporate partners.
