Internships
EXTRACURRICULAR INTERNSHIPS- ALL YEARS
Extracurricular internships are non-credit bearing internhips available to all years. For 1st and 2nd-year students, extracurricular internships can only be completed during the summer period. From the 3rd year onwards, students may also undertake extracurricular internships throughout the academic year.
Students who do extracurricular internships early in their academic journey get a first taste of how businesses work. At the end of their extracurricular internships, students may ask for the internship to be recognized and appear on the European Supplement of their official diploma upon graduation.
CURRICULAR INTERNSHIPS- 3RD, 4TH AND 5TH ONLY
Curricular internships allow you to receive elective credits depending on your study plan. Single BIE students may begin to participate in curricular internships in the spring term of their 3rd year of studies. Single BIR students and Dual BBABIR/BIEBIR students may undertake curricular internships once they have successfully completed all exams from their third year of studies. (This is subject to change, depending on your study plan. Prior to agreement, please consult with your program office). Credit allocation for curricular internships will be computed based on the duration of the internship and hours completed, and they can last anywhere from 1 to 6 months.
