Cristina García-Peri is responsible for the Strategic Management module of the Master in Real Estate Development (MRED) at IE, Architecture & Design. She is Head of Business Development at Azora Capital, a private equity manager with €4.5 billion of real estate AUM, and the General Manager of Azora’s largest investment vehicle, the listed SOCIMI Hispania that has a market capitalization of c. €1.5 bn. In addition, she serves on the Advisory Board of GRI as well as being a Director of EVO Banco, ISOLUX and the NGO Plan International.
Prior to her career in Real Estate, Cristina led for many years Equity Capital Markets for Iberia (at BAML) and Corporate Equity Derivatives for Europe, Middle East and Africa at JP Morgan, where she spent 13 years in their London office. Over those years, she accumulated significant experience in capital markets, risk management and merges and acquisitions with major corporates across Europe, Middle and Africa. Cristina has already been teaching at IE before, in the risk management area.
She earned a suma cum laude undergraduate degree on Business and Economics from ICADE and a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
