Aqib Siddiqui

Aqib is a PhD student at the Department of Information Systems and Technologies at IE Business School, IE University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, India and has a masters in Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovations from Warwick Business School, UK. He worked as a Marketing Manager for Tata Consultancy Services for a few years post graduation before joining his PhD.

Fascinated by the nuanced relationship between human behaviour and technology, Aqib's research interests have evolved to encompass the intricate domains of design science and data-driven methodologies. He focuses on investigating real world challenges associated with behavioural impact on use of technology on people. Currently, he is working with Konstantina Valogianni in an EU funded project aimed at assisting in understanding and determining digital maturity for children based on their Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) usage behaviour. He is also using natural language processing to understand the formation of the EU Data Act from a stakeholder perspective. Aqib's academic rigour is reflected in his active participation and paper presentations in international conferences.
