Christelle Alkhoury
Christelle is a PhD candidate in the Accounting and Management Control department at IE Business School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration, both from the Lebanese American University, Lebanon. During her masters, she wrote two research papers that are now published. As an undergraduate student, she started giving private lessons in different business courses. Since then, her passion for teaching has surged, leading to a 100% success rate for over 90 students from different backgrounds and nationalities at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Moreover, she has been serving as the learning facilitator for the financial accounting for strategic decision-making course for the digital transformation masters program designed by IE for employees of a big telecommunications company. Her outstanding performance and contribution to the success of that program granted her the Lifelong Learning Academic Excellence Award. With her enthusiasm for teaching and her interests in the area, Christelle aims to advance the accounting field both in classrooms and in research.
