DEFINE YOUR EXPERIENCE IN ONE WORD.

IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU THINK THE PROGRAM HAS CHANGED YOUR LIFE PROFESSIONALLY AND PERSONALLY?

Personally, I now exude confidence in my abilities and have witnessed substantial personal growth. The program has been a transformative journey, highlighting my potential with the right mentorship and a platform for creative expression. Relocating to a different continent has altered my perspective, revealing how one thing can be perceived in diverse ways depending on individual viewpoints.

Professionally, I've acquired a harmonious blend of creative industry knowledge, technical expertise, and essential soft skills. This unique combination equips me to thrive in the dynamic and ever-changing professional landscape.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY OF YOUR EXPERIENCE?

Undoubtedly, seeing my name on the screen as the top student finalist during the graduation ceremony, accompanied by the cheers of supportive friends.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO STUDY THIS PROGRAM AT IE?

In a serendipitous turn of events, I was initially considering a MiM program when IE's application website playfully suggested exploring a dual degree. Out of curiosity, I delved into the program and found that it resonated with me on a personal and professional level. It felt as though the program was tailor-made for my aspirations. I applied, aced the interview, and the rest, as they say, is history.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE MAIN CHALLENGES THAT YOU ENCOUNTERED ON YOUR WAY? HOW DID YOUR MASTER PROGRAM AND IE HELP YOU THROUGH THESE CHALLENGES?

One significant challenge was mastering time management. Thankfully, IE provided mentors who had walked the same path, offering valuable insights to help me reprioritize and focus on what truly mattered.

Another hurdle was forging new connections in a foreign land. Without any family or friends in Spain, the cultural diversity within the program proved to be a silver lining, leading to lasting friendships. Engaging with clubs like IE Humanities, IE Health and Happiness Center, and the Public Speaking Club introduced me to fascinating individuals from varied backgrounds.

WHAT IS NETWORKING LIKE IN THE PROGRAM?

Networking in the program was an enriching experience. "Coffee sessions" provided opportunities to connect with professionals from the creative industry. Marcomm talks with the Marketing and Communications program expanded our network within the professional field, often fueled by post-session pizza gatherings. Moreover, guest sessions featuring prominent figures from diverse backgrounds, combined with the program's mix of educational and professional diversity, enriched our understanding and connections in multifaceted ways.
