Aishwarya Gayen
Aishwarya holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and subsequently pursued a master’s in management, majoring in Finance and Investments. Prior to her venture into academia, she gained professional experience by working with both a Public Sector Undertaking and a Global Consulting firm.
Within the Entrepreneurship Research Department at IE, she works closely with Dr. Julio de Castro, focusing on various subjects such as women entrepreneurs, emerging countries, social media entrepreneurs, and storytelling. Aishwarya exhibits a passion for employing a diverse range of technologies, including API scraping, AI tools, and Econometrics, in order to meticulously collect and analyse her research data.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Aishwarya finds joy in savouring a good cup of coffee, indulging in literary fiction (when she takes a break from reading academic papers), and harbours aspirations of making impactful contributions to policy through her research in the future.
