Yunfan Wang

I am a Ph.D. candidate majoring in Operations Management at IE Business School, IE University, with a minor in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. I am privileged to have been awarded a full scholarship for the period of 2020-2024 by IE University.

My research, conducted under the guidance of Prof. Fabrizio Salvador and Prof. Emmanouil Avgerinos, explores the intersection of operations management and organizational behavior. Specifically, I investigate how strategic team composition, such as diversity, can enhance project performance while also retaining key talent. My academic interests extend to Healthcare Operations and the impact of Online Reviews.

My research methodology primarily involves quantitative techniques, such as regression analysis. In addition, I actively apply and integrate machine learning and optimization strategies. My proficiency in Python, R, and Stata significantly aids in this endeavor, allowing me to stay at the forefront of technological advancements in these areas.
