Lee Newman, Dean of IE Business School

“For us at IE Business School, it’s also about a ‘can do’ mindset that we aim to instill in every one of our graduates, an attitude that focuses on the power of new thinking and using business skills to change the world,” wrote Lee Newman, dean of IE Business School.

As IE University was founded in 1973 by a group of visionary entrepreneurs, the spirit of enterprise has been at the heart of the institution since its inception. Each degree program includes a strong focus on exploring innovation practices and cultivating sharp entrepreneurial skills. Thirty percent of IE University alumni have begun a startup at some point in their career. In addition, IE University has been working for 10 years in conjunction with South Summit, among the most valuable international network of entrepreneurs, to support entrepreneurship, and provide investment opportunities.

This latest acknowledgement from the Financial Times further confirms IE Business Schools strength in providing students with an entrepreneurial mindset in addition to the core MBA disciplines such as finance and marketing.
