IE School of Architecture & Design has partnered with POLI.design to offer a Milan Design Immersion Summer Course
The program combines lectures, workshops, field trips and cultural visits to provide students with a well-rounded understanding of design and architecture trends and principles, all developed in Milan, a world leader in design innovation.

The partnership of IE School of Architecture and Design with POLI.design, founded by Politecnico di Milano, is a in opportunity for IE students to live a fully immersive experience in Milan’s design ecosystem. The summer course will be led by top professors, adjuncts, and practitioners of Poli.design and is open to students on the Bachelor in Architectural Studies years 2 to 4, and the Bachelor in Design & Bachelor in Business Administration and Design years 2 and 3. It runs from Monday, 24th June until Friday, 5th July 2024.

Curated by leading experts in the field, this educational experience offers a comprehensive overview of the city's design scene, from its origins to the present day. The program provides professional guidance from leading designers and industry experts affiliated with POLI.design. The course will also include a collaboration with local icons in design and architecture, offering insights into current industry trends.

During the 10 days, the participants will be immersed in Milan's design culture, engaging in cross-cultural learning.  The students will visit some of Milan’s most iconic museums, studios, buildings, and districts, among them the ADI Design Museum, Portanuova, Fondazione Franco Albini, Fondazione Vico Magistretti, Massimo de Carlo, 10 Corso Como, Villa Necchi alla Portalupa, Triennale Milano, Museo del Novecento, Gianfranco Ferré Research Center, Brera Design District, Milano CityLife and Teatro Franco Parenti.
