Co-founder of Brininstool + Lynch


Brad Lynch is co-founder of Brininstool + Lynch, Ltd., a Chicago based architecture firm known for its modern design aesthetic. Founded in 1989, the firm offers architecture, planning, interior and product design services. Brininstool + Lynch is the recipient of over fifty major design awards, including twenty-seven Design Excellence Awards from the American Institute of Architects, three American Architecture Awards, and has been honored as an Emerging Voice in architecture by the Architectural League of New York.

Lynch has been actively involved in civic and community initiatives related to design. Which includes, creating a sustainable planning initiative in Paranapiacaba, Brazil, an Atlantic rainforest city; designs for a sustainable community development with Global Green in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina; designing a prototype mixed-use building for the Near Westside Initiative in Syracuse. In addition, he has been involved in the planning of a new transportation hub and master plan for Chinatown and the West Loop in Chicago.
