Diana Mokhallati

Associate Executive Director at IE school of Architecture and Design

Diana Mokhallati is Associate Executive Director at IE school of Architecture and Design. She has worked in design, project management, client representation and business development in the architectural and real estate fields.

Prior to joining IE, she has worked as a Senior Architect in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Architect in both the UAE and Lebanon and as a Communication Manager in Spain.

In 2017, she has developed marketing and business development strategies for an SME in Spain. Between 2014 and 2016 in the UAE, she has supervised several large scale projects to oversee the production of concept, schematic, design development and construction documents by hired consultants and contractors. She controlled the coordination between internal company teams, contractors and suppliers. She also coordinated with governmental authorities and issued design review reports relevant to every stage of each project. Prior to 2014, while in Lebanon, she has performed market opportunity assessments and feasibility studies for various cities in the MENA region in coordination with consultants like DG Jones, JLL and Deloitte. From 2008 to 2012, she had her technical foundation as an Architect at Dar Al Handasah (Shair and Partners) where she participated in the development of turnkey projects.

After her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the American University in Beirut (AUB), Diana Mokhallati pursued her Masters in Engineering Management from AUB. In 2017-2018, she successfully earned her second Masters in Business for Architecture and Design from the IE school of Architecture and Design. She speaks Arabic, French, English and Spanish.
