Marie Gedeon

Executive Director of Master’s Programs

Marie Gedeon is the Executive Director of the Master’s Programs at the IE School of Global and Public Affairs.  She is responsible for the management of the Master programs; including the development of goals and implementation of strategic plans for the Master in International Relations and for future programs of the School. Marie manages the relationship with partners and communicates the school’s vision and objectives to internal and external stakeholders. She is dedicated to translating the strategic vision into tactical objectives and represents the School on operational matters.

Marie has worked at IE for 8 years, initially in the Admissions Department and more recently as Associate Manager in the Middle East regional office based in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). In this role, Marie was pivotal in the development of the strategy for the GCC region, and the execution of commercial initiatives and events to promote the institution’s over 30 Masters programs.

Prior to IE, Marie worked at a consultancy firm providing advisory services to a Wall Street financial institution, and as a legal assistant at a civil law firm in New York.  Marie is a graduate of IE Business School´s Global MBA program and completed her undergraduate studies in Criminal Justice and Law at Pace University in New York, USA.

Marie speaks 4 languages and her joy  of travel has presented her with the opportunity to live and work in the USA, Europe and the Middle East throughout her career.
