THE Dual Degree in Economics & International Relations

This Dual Degree will teach you how to direct organizations that create value for our society, with an emphasis on building strong relationships between states, businesses, international organizations, and other political, economic, and social entities such as NGOs and think tanks. 

By understanding the dynamic global landscape we are submerged in, you will learn how to design and lead strategic policies to solve complex worldwide challenges and shape tomorrow’s world. Students will explore innovative models linked to digital platforms, emerging technologies, and collaborative action to understand and bring about change on a global scale.

**Students who complete a Dual Degree at IE University receive two undergraduate diplomas upon graduation. Both programs are fully compliant with the Bologna Process and accredited by the Spanish Government and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

Complete courses designed for UN staff through an IE University tailor-made online platform and receive certified diplomas from the United Nations System Staff College. Take part in numerous professional opportunities with the UN throughout your studies, including summer research programs, mentoring sessions with select UN staff and capstone projects. Furthermore, gain practical skills by participating in our customized simulations: experience how international negotiations work in our US-EU Trade Simulation and our Middle East Peace Simulation, or understand humanitarian crises and responses by taking part in our Refugee Camp Simulation. In addition, compete with other world-renowned universities in Model United Nations conferences or organize our own student-led IE University Model United Nations competition.
