DEPUTY SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS AMINA J. MOHAMMED VISITS IE UNIVERSITY TO ADVANCE THE COLLABORATION ON THE 2030 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AGENDA

Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) and Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group, visited IE University on November 1, 2022. In the spirit of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17 on global partnerships, both institutions have a regular collaboration to advance the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

During her visit in Madrid, Ms. Amina J. Mohammed met with students from IE School of Global and Public Affairs. Nearly 100 undergraduate and graduate students specializing in Global Affairs and International Development heard the Deputy Secretary-General’s insights on the advancements of the SDGs in light of the current global challenges. They also took the chance to ask about her extensive and inspirational career in the Development sector.
