Borja is Head of Retail and Real Estate in the Arcano Investment Banking team.
Previously, he worked in Investment Banking for ROTHSCHILD and Socios Financieros, where he was actively involved in several corporate transactions. He was the CEO of the retail chain Musgo for 8 years, leading the sale process of the Company to a Private Equity Firm in 2006. He was part of the advisory board for Retail in Jones Lang Lasalle Spain and member of the Executive Committee of CEIM-CEOE.
Borja is the Honorary Chairman of ACOTEX (Textile Trade Companies Association, with more than 800 associates and consisting of 2.800 stores in Spain -Zara, H&M, Prada or El Corte Inglés among others-). He was the President of the Association for 8 years.
Additionally, Borja is Board Member of El Ganso (Spanish Fashion brand with more than 120 owned stores in 11 countries. Family owned company backed by LCapital -LVMH-) since 2015, , he is Board Member of Grupo Paraguas (El Paraguas, Tenconten, Quintín, Amazonico and Numa) since 2016, and Vice-Chairman of Fundación EXIT (Social and labour insertion of youths under the risk of social exclusion) since 2008.
He is Teacher and Lecturer for different audiences (CUNEF, IE, ISEM Fashion School, Francisco de Vitoria University, MBA Telva&Yo Dona, Univ. Villanueva).
Graduate in Economics and Business Administration (C.U.N.E.F. -Madrid´s Complutense University). Real Estate Executive Program at HARVARD Business School.
