Raymond Torres



Raymond Torres is Director for Macroeconomy and International Analysis of Funcas, a think tank, since May 2016. He also writes a weekly column in the main Spanish newspaper, El País. Between 2007 and 2016, Raymond was Director of the ILO Research Department, Chair of the Board of the International Labourt Review (ILO flagship journal), and Associate Professor at University of Geneva. Before, he worked in the OECD. Raymond is the author of numerous research papers and policy-oriented studies and has extensive experience with international organisations, including through participation in G20 meetings, OECD Committee of Employment, Labour and Social Affairs;  OECD Working Party on Employment; and ILO Working Party on the Social Dimensions of Globalisation. He is actively involved in platforms on the future of our societies, such as Agenda Pública and Future is Blue.
