Top Seeds Lab signs collaboration agreement with IE Business School Venture Lab

Earlier today IE Business School and Top Seeds Labs, a startup accelerator which enjoys the support of top-tier technology corporations in its drive to provide support for entrepreneurs, signed a collaboration agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement Venture Lab, IE’s business project accelerator, will be able to include up to two teams in the third edition of Top Seeds Lab’s Startup Acceleration Program.

Top Seeds Lab will also include a fast track for one or two IE Business School Venture Lab projects in future editions of the program. The agreement is the result of previous collaborations between the two organizations in the last two editions of the program, culminating in this boost afforded by Top Seeds Lab for  projects developed in IE’s Venture Lab. The IE Venture Lab projects selected by Top Seeds Lab will be included in the third edition of the startup acceleration program, set to run from October 28 to February 28 of the following year.

“Venture Lab’s aim is to provide maximum impetus for our startups and ensure that our entrepreneurial students find openings for their projects when they graduate from IE Business School.  Private accelerators are an excellent option for our entrepreneurs, and Top Seeds Lab provides support for what are key months for the successful implementation of a project,” said Liz Fleming, Deputy Director of Venture Lab. “Given that several of our teams have already received investment from Top Seeds Lab in previous editions of the program, it makes sense to strengthen the fast track for future editions”.

Top Seeds Lab will award a prize in the form of an Acceleration Package, which includes 15,000 euros initial capital with which to set up the company, and a services package valued at 35,000 euros, given by Top Seeds Lab and its collaborators. The services package comprises availability of space in the Top Seeds Lab offices at Madrid’s Science Park, mentoring, fundraising advice, legal services, hosting, web analytics, coupled with further services which include a Talentum scholarship for each startup through Top Seeds Lab’s agreement with Telefónica.
