The 4th edition of the ‘Programa Ejecutivo en Asesoría Jurídica de los Negocios’ begins with PwC, KPMG and EY

On September 19, the opening ceremony of the ‘Programa Ejecutivo en Asesoría Jurídica de los Negocios’ (Executive Program in Legal Advice for Business) of IE Law School took place in collaboration with PwC Tax & Legal, KPMG Abogados and EY Abogados.

Thanks to this initiative, 60 recently graduated lawyers will receive, over the course of two years, training in corporate law, business management and other practical skills.

"This program is the result of the innovative vision of IE Law School and three pioneering and competing firms that are able to join forces and share knowledge," said Pilar Galeote, director of the program and professor at IE Law School. All this in a context in which the irruption of artificial intelligence requires, more than ever, an ethical and responsible exercise of the legal profession.

The opening ceremony was attended by Joaquín Latorre, partner in charge of PwC Tax & Legal, Alberto Estrelles, managing partner of KPMG Abogados, and Lourdes Centeno, partner in charge of Corporate Law, Corporate Governance and Capital Markets at EY Abogados.

The event also featured the intervention of three second-year participants of the program who shared their experience: Ángela Saralegui (PwC Tax & Legal); Cristina Gaztelurrutia (EY Abogados); and Javier Ramos (KPMG Abogados). They all agreed on highlighting the challenge of combining work and training, as well as the great value of learning in a diverse environment, with colleagues who bring different approaches and ways of practicing the profession.
