Stories that inspire: IE Law School celebrates the Red Gavel Awards

On April 20, IE Law School hosted the Red Gavel Awards ceremony at the Pabellón de Papel, bringing together students, faculty and staff to recognize outstanding members of the community whose achievements embody the school’s core values: academic rigor, commitment to community and resilience.

The ceremony opened with a welcome address by the Dean of IE La School,

Soledad Atienza. The event also featured remarks from Eugenia Castrillón, Vice Dean of Programs, and Fernando Pastor, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, who addressed attendees during the ceremony.

RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE  

The Red Gavel Awards acknowledge students across three key categories:

• Academic Excellence, awarded to students ranking in the top 10% of their program in their third year.
• Community Champion, recognizing those who have made a significant impact on the IE community.
• Stories of Strength, highlighting individuals whose journeys reflect diversity, resilience and personal growth.
