The third edition of the ‘Programa Ejecutivo en Asesoría Jurídica de los Negocios’ concludes with PwC, KPMG, and EY
A unique and pioneering program by IE Law School, developed in collaboration with three leading professional services firms.
On December 13th, the closing ceremony of the third edition of the Programa Ejecutivo en Asesoría Jurídica de los Negocios, organized by IE Law School in collaboration with PwC Tax & Legal, KPMG Abogados, and EY Abogados, took place.
This unique program, designed for recent law graduates, offers two years of specialized training in corporate law, business management, and other key professional skills. In this edition, 60 young lawyers participated in modules on Corporate Law and Finance and Management, receiving their diplomas during the ceremony.
A Collaborative Approach to the Legal Future
The program, directed by Pilar Galeote, professor at IE Law School, represents an innovative collaboration model where the three firms work together to strengthen legal talent development. During her speech, Galeote emphasized: “Do not forget, as Spinoza reminded us, that today you are freer because you know more after this program, but you are also more responsible, because there is no freedom without responsibility.” She also congratulated PwC Tax & Legal, KPMG Abogados and EY Abogados for understanding that this alliance is not competitive, but strategic.
The event was attended by partners and directors from the three firms, who also serve as program instructors: Javier Gómez from PwC Tax & Legal, Rosa Cañas from EY Abogados, and Maitane Peña from KPMG Abogados. Additionally, the Heads of Human Resources and People Management from the three organizations were present: Laura Asiaín (PwC), Maitane de la Peña (KPMG), and Lucía de Andrés (EY).
This educational model demonstrates how collaboration between academia and professional practice can make a difference in preparing future leaders in the legal sector.
