I am passionate about marketing and communications, knowing that they enable us to connect with people through emotions and relatability. I give my heart for brands that empower people and aim to make a difference in society. I have worked for a bank with presence in Central America, and I am currently at Domino´s, which came back to Honduras after two years of being gone. Opening a market and living the love customers give to the brand has been amazing. I look forward to keep building connections with people through amazing brands.
Professionally it made me realize I needed to take on new projects that involved marketing and communications at a higher level, with global brands. It inspired me to go for the job I had always wanted.
Personally: During a tough time like the pandemic, having a full time job and doing a master’s program, was not easy. This master taught me to be resilient and persevere.
The first time we all saw each other in person. It was amazing to finally meet everyone personally after only been connected virtually for so long as our in person period had to be delayed due to the pandemic.
I knew the university for my master degree was IE for its excellent programs and professors. MCMC part-time was perfect for me as it had the two areas of expertise I wanted – marketing and communication. Also, part-time allowed me to keep on working while also living the experience of going to in person classes.
Working and studying got a bit challenging at times, but the amazing professors the program has, help me get through it. Also, professors were always available for advice regarding specific professional topics and were willing to help us every step of the way.
It is amazing. We are able to connect with people from all over the world that are in different industries but that share the same passion for marketing. Also, being able to connect with professors with real life experience in great companies and brands, is very helpful. The thing I like the most is that connections remain after graduation.
