The Experience: Master in Business for Architecture and Design
Master in Business for Architecture and Design seeks to provide a bigger vision on the way design affects business decisions, as it has been proven that even though outstanding design is necessary in order to be thrive in the contemporary architecture field, it is not enough. Thus, it seeks to bridge business, design and architecture skills through a practical approach.
Our students from the Master in Business for Architecture and Design share their key learnings from the program at the IE School of Architecture and Design:
Diana Mokhallati
“I personally see among my classmates and myself the change we have developed throughout the year, since the beginning of the program until the end we have been developing projects that can actually happen in the real world.
The program has been a pivotal milestone in my life where I learned as much technical as soft skills to be able to stand firm when it comes to ideas – how to express them clearly, develop them from beginning to end and how to sell them accordingly.”
Ryan Debsky
“Due to the format of the program I was able to learn a lot about leadership. You are mostly working on group projects where you are managing different personalities, nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. Sometimes, this can be a challenge.”
Daniel Terence Yu Ong
“What I really enjoyed and found useful about the program is that it teaches you the business side of how to run an architectural office. Additionally, the course is very open. We normally operate in an environment where people keep their secrets close to their chest, but in this program, we all open up to different architectural practices. As a result, you get to understand and learn how other professionals work.”
Are you ready to learn about these skills, amongst many others, in an international and multidisciplinary environment?
