IE Business School further consolidates its international position with its 18-month Global MBA, delivered in English, which has already been attended by executives from more than 60 countries. This year, the FT ranks IE Business School’s Global MBA as the third online MBA in the world for students’ professional development.

The Financial Times ranking analyzes aspects such as the students’ profile, their career path, the academic experience, the degree of diversity and the quality of the faculty, among others.
"The Global MBA ranking reflects the commitment of IE Business School to training leaders capable of managing an increasingly digital global environment."

Aside from the Global MBA, IE Business School’s portfolio of blended programs includes an Executive MBA and the IE SMU MBA, a 10-month program focused on business strategies in the Asia-Pacific region, taught jointly with Singapore Management University. In addition, IE Business School teaches the IE Brown Executive MBA jointly with Brown University, a program that integrates the experience and prestige of IE in management with the Ivy League institution’s excellence in the humanities and social sciences. IE Business School also teaches the Global Executive MBA, a program for senior executives that combines classroom sessions in Madrid, Singapore, Los Angeles and Sao Paulo with online training.
Martin Boehm, Dean of IE Business School, recently presented the business school’s strategic map for the next five years, which will focus on promoting students’ technological immersion in all degree and masters programs. IE Business School’s commitment to the development of online training began in 2001, making it a pioneer institution in Europe. Since then, more than 10,000 students have been trained using blended methodology. In 2016, IE launched the WOW Room, the number one classroom in the future of Europe, which uses artificial intelligence, simulations, big data, robots and holograms. In this latest stage, the business school’s goal is for students to transform their training experience via projects involving technology immersion.
IE Business School has invested more than 25 million euros over the last 15 years in innovation projects applied to education. IE Business School plans to double that figure and invest a further €50 million over the next five years to strengthen its technological commitment. By 2023 all students at the business school will use the WOW Room and will be trained in areas such as artificial intelligence applied to business, blockchain, coding, fintech, and cryptocurrencies such as the #IEToken.
