IE Business School ranked No. 4 in Europe by Financial Times | IE Business School

IE Business School is the No. 4 business school in Europe and 1st in Spain according to the 2016 Financial Times European Business School Ranking.

IE Business School is the No. 4 business school in Europe and 1st in Spain according to the 2016 Financial Times European Business School Ranking. This annual survey averages out the results obtained by leading European business schools for their MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management, and Executive Education programs in different rankings published over the course of the year by Financial Times. In addition to these results in the FT European Business School Ranking, IE holds the No. 6 position worldwide in the non-US schools category of the 2016 Bloomberg Businessweek ranking of MBA programs, also  published today.

In order to draw up this “ranking of rankings”, Financial Times evaluated criteria that included the level of internationalization of the schools, salary increases and career progression of graduates, fulfilment of expectations, and research levels. “We are very pleased to be among the top four schools in Europe and to be No. 1 in Spain,” said Martin Boehm, Dean of Programs at IE Business School. “This ranking recognizes the quality of our MBA, Masters in Management, Masters in Finance, and executive education programs, and rewards our innovative approach to education with a marked focus on technology, entrepreneurship, global vision, and academic excellence. The launch of the WOW Room, our class of the future, a few weeks ago is a prime example of this approach.”

The Financial Times’ ranking takes into account the positions IE Business School achieved this year in FT’s Executive MBA ranking (No. 10 in the world with the Global Executive MBA), Master in Management (No. 7), MBA (No. 12), and Executive Education Open Programs (No. 27). Other FT rankings published this year, which are not taken into consideration for the European ranking, include the Online MBA Ranking, which places IE Business School No. 1 in the world for its Global MBA, and the Masters in Finance Ranking, which places IE’s Master in Finance program in the No. 3 position worldwide.
